Video containing footage that I edited for a class project in 1998. It has an intro with music video clips, clips from the documentary Rhyme & Reason (1997), interview and performance footage of me and Robert Mitchell (Rob-E) back in the day when we used to rap. #femaleemcee #hiphop
Female rapper, Realism* live freestyle performance with The Earthlings and their live band at the Maritime Hall in San Francisco opening for The Hieroglyphics. There were 3,000 underground hip-hop fans at this show. Lots of energy.
“I was overly excited. Pretty much screaming at the top of my lungs while rapping at this show the highlight was when Safari lifted me off the ground so the crowd could see me. Shout out to my friends and sponsors, 594 Gear that connected me with folks and put me onto a lot of shows at this venue. Good times.”
If you have footage of me performing at this event or at The Lyricist Lounge also at Maritime Hall in 2008 - please contact me. I remember there being other cameras around. =)
